Immaculate 1976 911S Targa 2.7 w/ 17k miles, zero rust Cali / Oregon car
I’ll probably regret this, but here we go. I found the long nose car I want and the price I must pay is letting this gorgeous Targa go. This is the best rust-free G body for the buck and it has been priced correctly with anything that you can critique already accounted for. Get it and drive it!
Car has lived its entire life in Oregon and California. I have Oregon documents that go back to the late 80s that show maintenance and milage progression. In the late 80s the car underwent the forward dating with steel flares, color change from Peru Red to GP white, color matched targa bar, whale tail, color matched 16” Fuchs, and custom interior. I am not sure how it is possible, but the interior still has fresh leather smell, no mustiness that you find in many tired G body interiors. The paint is amazing for being 40+ years old, better than driver quality, but not concourse perfect. You can tell immediately that the work was done well and right. This all took place in Oregon and after a ton of research I managed to find the individuals who did the work and even have pictures of the polaroids they took of the car while it was being redone (they would not give me the originals because they had such fond memories of this car). All Oregon owners have confirmed that the car never had thermal reactors while they had it, so while I know the car was born in Cali, so it came with them on, but they have not been on the car for at least 45 years… maybe more.
Never tracked or abused. Car is an absolute blast. Turns heads everywhere
Clean bill of health. Mechanic offered his number to chat if someone is serious, he claims this is one of the nicest driving he’s worked on and certainly the cleanest
Includes a binder of records, original manual, and COA
Clean Oregon title in hand, car is registered as a “special interest” car so it has permanent Oregon registration and wears the 80s Oregon license plate (I only have one).
I am a long time PCA member and own multiple cherished P-car’s
• Motor and trans matching numbers
• 930 Valve covers added in 2021 as well as 930 tie rods
• Updated air box
• Factory dealer installed A/C knee bar in 1976, all parts there but currently not connected
• Car is currently slightly lower than euro height
• Brand new tires in May ’25, the ones I took off were dated from 2005. I was foolish to even drive the car with them on, but I have photos that show the tread to further prove that miles match the story
• Calico Coco mats and have matching brown ones
• Rennline wood shift knob and have original
• Rennline steering wheel, and do not have original
Reach out if there is something I missed or if you would like specific photos, Cheers
