One of the most incredible cars to leave the factory is the legendary 1973 911 Carrera RS. That model was available globally; however, the USA did not get the 1974-76 version with the 2.7 MFi motor based on the later impact bumper cars. Even though the impact bumpers look “heavier,” the 1974-76 Euro Carrera weighed the same as the original 1973 Carrera RS Touring. In 1974, only 1,011 coupes were built. This example was originally sold in Italy; later, it ended up in GB and made its way to the US in the early 2000s. The light restoration began in 2010, and the mechanicals were rebuilt in 2018 at a local shop here in Connecticut. The interior remains mostly original, except for new door cards and a speaker grill on the dash. It comes with documentation and literature/brochures.
