I have owned my 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet 5 speed for nineteen years. Car is in great 3+condition with most mechanicals refreshed. Clean CARFAX and Clean Car Title in hand.
Car is slate blue metallic with a black interior and leather trim. A professional respray under PO was performed. It’s equipped with a 3.2 engine, 915 transmission and limited slip differential. MOMO Prototipo steering wheel on an eccentric hub is installed. Original steering wheel, tonneau cover, center console shell, owners’ manual, spare tire, jack and tool kit are included in sale.
Summary maintenance and updates – last several hundred miles
Silver knit carpet kit installed with COCA mats, front seats recovered (vinyl), front seat belts refurbished.
Shift linkage refurbished.
New rotors, pads, SS brake lines installed, brake calipers rebuilt.
Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires on original Fuchs wheels.
Griffiths Kuehl Reliability Package #2 Airconditioning System installed, (Incredible system!)
Engine out top end refresh performed with valve job and ARP studs installed. Griffiths engine fuel lines installed along with intake gaskets and seals. New distributer cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires installed.
New alternator and turn signal switch installed.
Recent service and brake flush.
DMV Safety inspection accomplished in April,2024
Non-positive items:
At time of purchase odometer was inoperative, reading 138500 miles. Mileage recorded through July 2003 at 134209 miles. In 2004 Dealer acquired. I purchased in 2005. Based on historical usage, estimated mileage is approximately 141K. Speedometer has been refurbished.
Ignition switch was replaced, key does not match door keys.
Catalytic converter was removed by PO
Shift arrow light stays on
Radio is removed and radio delete plate is in place
Lumbar support drive on drivers eight-way seat is inoperative.
A small scuff and tear on convertible top at left rear corner and a small paint scuff on passenger side rear quarter.
