This Carrera was purchased on Feb 2nd, 1985 at Jim Ellis Porsche Audi of Tucker, GA and remained local to that area under the watchful eyes of two proud PCA members (1985-2000, 2000-2022) until early 2022 when ownership was transferred to another family member in AZ. It is equipped with the highly desirable bulletproof 3.2L Flat 6 engine and a recently rebuilt 915 transmission. This Porsche’s optional Iris Blue Metallic paint was an additional $645 add-on at purchase and really sets this car apart. The exterior coating just received a full treatment in our detail department and it really shines. The car has had some panel repair work done some time ago and slight color differences can be seen in the photos above. The car is arrow straight up high and totally rust free. Exterior options ordered from the factory include front spoiler, rear whale-tail, power sunroof and sport shock absorbers. This 911 has always been garage kept and pampered its entire life and really shows. The car is riding on gorgeous 16" Staggered wheels with Porsche crest centers. They are all excellent with center caps, lug nuts and wrapped in brand new Yokohama All Season performance tires.
The beautiful blue leather-trimmed interior is all original and looks great. The German leather seats are very good for their age with minimal scuffs or ware lines. This Carrera’s interior features a factory steering wheel w/ raised hub, power door locks, cruise control, alarm system and power passenger seat. Everything works in the car.. lights, gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold. The car will also include its correct original manuals pictured and tool kit.
Mechanically, this Porsche is in great condition and runs and drives great. It has very healthy and very quick. This car boasts 217bhp and flys 0-60 in 6.3 sec with a top speed of 160mph! The car has a very strong reuilt 5-Speed 915 transmission that shifts good and has had a clutch job in the past. The car has just been serviced by our Porsche certified service center with Castrol and was given a clean bill of health. This car is very clean under the hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of it- we have all the documentation back to when it was purchased new, even a log book for all fuel fill-up’s! The A/C blows ice cold and the heat works as it should. We just did hood/ decklid shocks, oil level sensor, battery tie down and a fresh driver’s door seal.
