1988 944 Turbo S 52,000 miles. Alpine White with a gray partial-leather interior. Looks almost new with original paint that has only a few stone chips. Interior is pristine. Original sound equipment with optional equalizer and 10 speakers. New tires, all-original rear hatch covers, sunroof storage bag, car cover, and more included. One owner. Always maintained religiously with a full folder of records. Porsche dealer performed a PPI for us. Other than needing new front rotors and for its timing belt to be re-tensioned — the belt had recently been replaced — it passed with flying colors.
Purchased for $18,000. We estimate the 1988 Turbo S is worth a low of $8,303, or roughly $9,440 for a good car. An excellent one should bring $12,638. We’d allow an extra 10 percent for this car’s low mileage. Even so, this buyer paid a premium for what appears to be a very nice example.
