1984 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA CABRIOLET

VIN: WP0EB0918ES171151

118,980 MILES

Offered here is a classic, air cooled 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet. This first year Carrera replaced the 911 SC and included some upgrades over the previous model. Specifically the new model offered improved reliability, better fuel economy and subtle interior improvements. Most significantly, the engine displacement was increased from 3.0 liters to 3.2 liters. Additionally, Bosch Motronic fuel injection was added. The new motor produces 207 horsepower and is connected to a 915 five speed manual transmission. The car accelerates from 0-60 mph in six seconds and has a top speed of 146 mph. Stopping power is provided by 4 wheel disc brakes.

The vehicle for sale is finished in Guards Red with a black leather interior and a black convertible top, all of which are in excellent condition. The car drives excellently and does not blow smoke when started cold (see video in garage). The air conditioner blows cold.

There are 45 pages of service records included with the sale. Recently, the owner spent $11,983 in maintenance and upgrades. Key items included valve adjustments, gaskets, oil and filter change, spark plugs, fuel and other filters, oil thermostat switch, oil line to external thermostat, brake hoses, brake fluid flush, 930 tie rods, four wheel alignment, frunk and deck lid hood struts, crank sensor and new fuel lines.

The result is a classic 911 that looks and drives great. The owner is selling it only because he is moving out of state and his new residence will not have room to garage park the vehicle
