1989 930S Factory Slantnose
One of the most expensive cars produced in the 1980s is the 930S factory Slantnose. This option added $29,550 to the price of a new 911 Turbo, making it a privilege reserved for the most exclusive Porsche owners. Only 60 coupes were built in 1989, which was also the final year of production. Notably, 1989 was the only year that the 911 Turbo came with a 5-speed transmission. This particular model was specially ordered with sports seats, a raised steering wheel hub, factory short shift lever, color-matched wheels, and even a cell phone! In February 2025, the car underwent an extensive motor rebuild and mechanical service. Additionally, it has completed the Porsche Classic certification program.
