  • Trim: Sunroof Coupe
  • Description: 1963 Porsche 356B T6 Super-90 Sunroof Coupe VIN 122354 completed November 8, 1962 The Super-90 was the top of the line producing 90 horsepower & was special ordered! Beautiful restored finished in its original color combination Heron Grey with a Navy Blue leatherette interior. Special ordered with a rare electric sliding sunroof, Super-90 engine, deluxe horn ring, and chrome wheels. According to the Certificate of Authenticity, Porsche replaced the engine on October 22, 1964, with a KD P813051, which is a factory replacement 356SC engine. The restoration was done in 2017-2018 and included a bare metal repaint, new Navy Blue interior, German square weave carpets, and all new rubbers. Additional work includes: rebuild carbs, new points, rotor, distributor cap, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, oil lines, change oil & filter, replace axle boots, fuel lines, brake master cylinder, rebuild link and kingpins, new sway bar bushing, new tie rod ends, new transmission mounts, balance new pressure plate & clutch disc with flywheel and install new muffler with S-pipes. Extremely straight and rust-free 356 with good gaps and panel fit. This 356 is an excellent driver that performs flawlessly! Specification 90 horsepower, 1,582 cc OHV air-cooled horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with dual 40 Solex carburetors, four-speed manual 741 transmission, independent front suspension with laminated torsion bars, parallel trailing arms, and tubular shock absorbers, independent rear swing axles with torsion bars and tubular shock absorbers, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 82.7 in. History In late 1959 significant styling and technical refinements gave rise to the 356 B (a T5 body type). The mid-1962 356 B model was changed to the T6 body type (twin engine lid grilles, an external fuel filler in the right front wing/fender and a larger rear window in the coupé). The Porsche factory did not call attention to these quite visible changes with a different model designation. However, when the T6 got disc brakes, with no other visible alterations, they called it the model C, or the SC when it had the optional extra powerful engine. The output of the engine is 89 bhp (90 PS/66 kW) of power at 5500 RPM and maximum torque of 121 N·m (89 lb·ft/12.3 kgm) at 4300 rpm. The claimed curb weight is 934 kg. / 2060 ibs Maximum speed is 179 km/h (111 mph).
