-Extensive service history from Speedwerk in Nyack, NY

-Gary Stratton “ducktail” rear lid fitted, original “whale tail” included

A stunning black on black example, this ’87 911 features its original 3.2L flat six accompanied by the legendary G50 transmission. Residing in Connecticut before moving to New York under its current owner, the car has enjoyed fastidious maintenance and enthusiastic ownership for the last 31 years. Now with 108,000 miles, this Porsche still feels every bit as tight and engaging as it did when new, and promises many more years of back roads fun ahead.

Numerous cosmetic and mechanical upgrades are present—most notably the car wears a striking Gary Stratton “duck tail” rear lid (the original “whale tail” is included as well) and features custom, gray Carrera script along the sides. Below, the beautiful Fuchs wheels feature new tires and are in great shape. The car’s cosmetics are in top condition thanks to a full paint correction performed by Turn-7 Auto Care, the only notable flaws include some stone chip touch-ups at the front and a small area of minor bubbling under the rear bumper.

Inside, the black leather seats have aged perfectly, with only minor scuffs on the driver’s seat bolster. Tight headliner, excellent door cards, coco mats, and a lovely dash all further enhance the atmosphere in the cabin, while aluminum pedals, new door sill moldings, and a Momo Prototipo wheel add some flair. In the trunk the original tool roll and compressor are present, ensconced in perfect carpeting above the correct spare tire.

Years of care and upgrades at Speedwerk have culminated in a Porsche that truly delivers on the performance pedigree of the 911. The 3.2 received a compression test in 2014 and runs flawlessly, howling through a Dansk stainless steel exhaust system. Upgraded brakes, new Bilstein shocks, and an included Steve Wong DME chip complete this immensely capable upgrades package. In addition, numerous other fixes and projects have been completed in recent years, including a new lightweight aluminum clutch, belt and pulley service, restored gauges, and a full engine-out detailing/service. The car starts easily, shifts perfectly, and feels every bit as solid and fast as it should. A comprehensive service history and clean Carfax further attest to the car’s immaculate quality.
