This 2008 Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder has 49,807 miles and is #799 of 1,960 cars built worldwide to commemorate Porsche’s first overall victory at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring.

Factory cosmetic touches include GT Silver paint, restyled bumpers, all-red taillights, a black windshield surround, 19″ SportDesign wheels, factory wheel spacers, optional dark grey full leather upholstery, optional black top with defrosted glass rear window, Boxster S embossed center storage compartment lid, Porsche embossed crest in headrests. Porsche Active Stability Management (PASM) was also standard. This Porsche comes with all service documentation, original window sticker, a clean AutoCheck report from August 2016. The car went through a dealer inspection prior to the current owner purchasing it. The current owner has a small lien on the car that can be quickly remedied. The current black convertible top was installed in 2016 replacing the original black top.
The RS60 features pronounced lower lips on the front and rear bumpers. All RS60s were fitted with 19″ SportDesign alloy wheels and factory spacers to fill out the fender wells. The 3.4L flat-six is equipped with a factory sport exhaust system, which gave the RS60 eight more horsepower than the contemporary 987 Boxster S for a total of 303 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 251 lb-ft of torque from 4,400-6,000 rpm when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle.

In the past two years since the current owner obtained the car, it has been driven less than 1000 miles, and has not been driven in rain or brine. It was covered and garaged when not being driven. Recent work included an oil/filter change and brake fluid flush. The current owner is a Porsche Certified technician, having worked on 987s during their model cycle.

Inside, the optional dark grey leather cabin features stitched leather on the door panels, seats, center console, dashboard, and three-spoke sport steering wheel. Various silver accents are also present, along with an RS60-specific polished shift knob. Porsche also removed the instrument cluster’s cowling, exposing the three-pod layout. This particular RS60 is optioned with heated seats, bi-xenon headlamps, a windstop, automatic climate control, and self-dimming mirrors, Bose stereo. The digital odometer shows 49,807 miles. The original stereo head unit is included with the car, having been upgraded to a Pioneer audio/navigation system with a backup camera. This car comes with a high quality Covercraft NOAH breathable indoor/outdoor car cover and a Porsche C37 smart battery charger.
The black top and dark grey leather options make this car even more rare than most RS60 Spyders as most came with Carrera red leather and a red top. This particular car has been ceramic coated with OptiCoat, and the ease of care and protection offered by a ceramic coating shows.

The rear tires were replaced following purchase by the current owner in 2016, Pilot Sport N2 tires, and have approximately 1000 miles on them. The front tires are Pilot Super Sport 2012 vintage and have approximately 1/3 tread remaining.

A plaque above the glove box states that this particular RS60 is #799 of 1,960 built worldwide. Less than 800 RS60s were reportedly exported to the US.This 2008 Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder has 49,807 miles and is #799 of 1,960 cars built worldwide to commemorate Porsche’s first overall victory at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring.
