  • Description: 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa Completed in November 1973 Chassis# 9114410117 The “G” Series Model appeared in August 1973 and continued and ended production on July 1974. A Targa was added to the Carrera lineup in 1974. The ducktail spoiler of the 1973 Carrera RS was an option on the Carrera except in Germany. The US 911 and 911S had four-speed manual transmissions as standard equipment, but most were delivered with the five-speed option. The most visible changes to the interior were new high-backed seats with integrated headrests and a folding removable Targa top as standard equipment. Suspension changes included a simple front anti-roll bar design and forged aluminum trailing arms at the rear. 117th out of 246 Targa’s produced for the US market. Excellent overall condition finished in Black with a Black leatherette interior. Mechanically the 2.7 -liter engine runs very well with a 915 5-speed manual transmission, and four-wheel disc brakes. 2.7 liter with 175 horsepower at 5800rpm, 167lbs of torque at 4000rpm. The US Carrera Targa’s are very limited in production and becoming hard to find.
