Porsche 997 (3.6L) Powered Boxster. Exceptional, Porsche factory quality 2005 997 Carrera (3.6L) engine swap on a mint 2001 Boxster. The chassis has approx. 53K miles and the (new/Reman) 2005 installed Porsche 997 Carrera engine only 7K miles. The installation was performed by Porsche-factory trained mechanic Sloan Pallatti (owner of SSI Performance in Baltimore, MD) in 2010, at total cost of approximately $20K (the engine was acquired new from Porsche of Annapolis). I am the 2nd owner of the car (purchased on 2003). All documentation/receipts are available. Stock 5 speed gear box, Corse Speedline 18" wheels (225 mm front, 285 mm rear, Michelin Sport Pilots), Mulsanne Front Bumper, genuine Gemballa air scoops, Cayman Remus Sport Exhaust, Maxspeed Motorsports exhaust manifold (with race catalytic converters), Cayman S airbox. Clean installation (no CEL, no issues and emissions compliant). Exceptional performance (290 ft-lbs of Torque, 325 HP), comparable to a new Cayman S, at a fraction of the cost. This is a very special Porsche and the ultimate sleeper. $45,000 OBO. Please contact me for additional details/photos etc.
